This is a bolt-action crossbow that I designed and created for the Artstation challenge Medieval: back and forth.
For this challenge I had to make 3 props rendered in real time ( this being prop 1 ) following a brief of the mixture of the medieval and modern period.

So for the first prop I decided to make a medieval style crossbow with a modern twist, using motorized steel wire instead of string, A bolt action mechanism to re-load the weapon and a modern rife stock.
